At esc films we are especially skilled in creating short educational and awareness-raising films which convey important information quickly, concisely, and accessibly.
As an educational film-making charity, we have extensive expertise in working across a range of sectors from public, corporate and private to community and voluntary sector clients and tailoring our services to meet those differing needs. We are a team of experienced consultants including writers, directors, film-makers, producers and designers and within the team we have made over 100 short films and three features. Our work has been screened from Seoul to San Francisco, in a range of languages, and broadcast on Channel 4, BBC, RTE and PBS. Our awards include Impetus Human Rights Awards, Koestler Awards, and The Roger Graef Award for Outstanding Achievement in Film.
esc films can work with you to co-create compelling content to engage your audience. esc films are experts at helping people who have little or no experience of being on film to become confident on camera. One of our key skills is working with clients and with participants to develop the content of films, to devise, script, rehearse and create finalised pieces with strong and clear messages. We also excel in project management, liaising with multiple partners and groups to fulfil commissions – which are delivered on time and within budget.
We have worked with public sector clients including Health Social Care Trusts, the NI Prison Service, the Probation Service of NI, Queen’s University Belfast and the Equality Commission, as well as with private companies including Being Online and Specialisterne NI. Within the community and voluntary sector we have worked with NEXUS NI, NICVA, MindWise, Inspire (NIAMH), Barnardos, Extern and many others.
