Unboxing Women: Surviving the Cycle of Suicide (2026)
Part of our women’s prison project – Unboxing Women: before you judge me, Surviving the Cycle of Suicide is one woman’s journey through her own past, to make sense of her future. She endures intergenerational trauma, suicide attempts, drug abuse, losing her children, sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, self-medication and addiction before ending up in prison where she uses expressive writing and the power of community to comes to terms with her past and begin to build herself and her family a better future.
