Unboxing Women: The Forgotten Child (2026)
Part of our women’s prison project – Unboxing Women: before you judge me, voiced by a prison officer, The Forgotten Child gives voice to a woman whose story was known more through the newspapers. She wanted to have her story told and found liberation and relief in the telling. It is a heavy, horrifying story of child sexual abuse, rape, grooming, self medication, addiction, family breakup and descent into crime leading ultimately to murder.
